There were very good staff and rooms, everything you need for a WONDERFUL stay. We could see city from our window.

the breakfast was a little disappointing ,we had to ask for many things to refill and a soft boiled egg was not cooked at all

This hotel was just wonderful...we were there for our honeymoon, and everything was just perfect... The hotel itself is built on a historical site, but with all the needed modernism in the hotel and the room... The staff is wonderful !!! from the reception to the breakfast and restaurant waiters...no problem to park the car neither ! everything was so perfect... Thanks a lot (Hvala!!!) for that lovely stay!! We would definitely go back and recommend this hotel!!!

The reception staff was fabulous. The location is perfect and all the sights can be seen within easy walking distance. We ate dinner at the hotel and the service was outstanding as was the food.

As the only reasonable hotel in the old city area, the Bastion turned out to be an excellent choice for location, good breakfast buffet but didn't use the restaurant
requested a non-smoking room but there was an ashtray in the room although there was no obvious smell of tobacco

Location, Interior Kitsch Design (not my personal style, but it is high grade at least)
4* interior but the rest is lousy 3*, small rooms, overpriced max.100 Euro night/room would be ok, staff is not trained to 4* standard, not very attentive/friendly, bedding is cheap, cheap breakfast, things are permantly empty and one have to ask all the time "could you please bring...", , windowless breakfast room, coffee is horrible, the problem is that there is no true alternative in Zadar, Bastion is defently not a 4* hotel! (only the price is 4*)

If you appreciate "boutique " hotels, you will love, as we did, the lavish interior design. The staff is up to what you would expect from major hotel even if this is a small establishment. Location could not be better. You can leave your car on their private street during all your stay and walk to all attractions in a few minutes.
We realized only to late that it would have been realy nice to take advantage of their SPA facilities But even if they do some advertisement on their private TV channel, I would have been nice to offer prospective clients a special package when reserving the rooms on the internet.

Terrible bathroom in the room we had. Rooms were very small and quite noisy due to the location. We paid 180e per night for a tiny room with the most ridiculous bathroom design I have ever seen and no view

This is a very nice hotel that was easily located and very accessible to city center. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom is very modern and designed well. Parking was easy and within a comfortable walking distance to the hotel.
